Streetz Ahead

Streetz Ahead runs its classes based on the IDTA Street Dance syllabus. This includes Hip Hop 'Old Skool' & 'New Skool', Popping, Locking and strengthening exercises in preparation for break dancing.

Our street dance classes are held at The Michael Church, Lowedges Road, Sheffield, S8 7LD. Both solo and group examinations can be taken in the Street Dance syllabus and are taken under the International Dance Teachers Association (IDTA). This is recognised by the council of Dance Education & Training. The IDTA is the largest dance teacher's organisation in the UK.

There is a registration fee of £20 and with this each child will receive an embroided Streetz Ahead Hoodie. Each class is £5.00 and payable half-termly in advance.

Class Times

Thursday's 4:00 - 4:45pm for 7yrs to 11 years

Thursday's 4:45 - 5:30pm for ages 12years and upwards

Uniform

This consists of Spotlight's streetz ahead Hoodie, with comfortable trousers or jazz pants. Foot wear either trainers or dance sneakers. Any dance wear can be purchased from us direct.
